Servant’s Heart Services was started on July 1, 2005
by Tom and Jo Nelson in Logansport, Indiana.
Tom is a native of Logansport, and has owned his own remodeling business there for many years. He is also very gifted musically and plays guitar, saxophone, and enjoys singing. He has been involved with leading worship for many years, and also played the part of Jesus in the Civic Player’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar in October of 2003. He has always been deeply concerned for the welfare of other people in the community, and is very excited about this opportunity to provide compassionate services to those in need.
Jo is a registered nurse with experience in emergency room nursing, prison nursing, and most dear to her heart, hospice nursing. She enjoys being able to interact with her patients and build relationships with them that last a lifetime in friendship and caring.
Tom and Jo have been married for 25 years, and base their entire lives on faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. They have raised 6 children - Tobey, John, Brandy, Sarah, Ashley, and Matt - and have 8 grandchildren, with another new addition expected in September. They hold faith and family in the highest priority, and are committed to helping others obtain the same joy and fulfillment in their families as well. They were part of Marriage Ministries International when they lived in Texas and were Fort Worth City Leaders from 1994 until 1996 when they moved back to Logansport.

Supervisors will serve their associates with encouragement, honesty, and affection to create security through a positive culture. We will offer truthful, constructive evaluations to enable our staff to grow professionally and personally whenever possible.
Commitment
We commit to being a stable and dedicated resource to the community, offering assistance and counsel whenever possible to those in need. We promise to keep the community's best interests at heart, and to offer support and comfort at every opportunity.
Caring
We are dedicated to providing comfort and caring to those who are nearing the end of life, and those who are suffering from serious illness and disease. We will work in the spirit of teamwork and cooperation, side by side, with local hospice organizations to ease the burden of those who are suffering by providing palliative care. When the situation dictates, we will also ease the transition from home health care to hospice care, with an emphasis on spiritual and emotional needs as well as relieving physical symptoms.
Our Mission Statement:
Servant's Heart Home Health Services and Servant’s Heart Homemaker Services are dedicated to providing the most exceptional home care available to the community. We consider each client to be a sacred trust, and we are committed to treating each one with dignity, respect, and Christian compassion while promoting their comfort and health at home.
