How is Servant's Heart Services different from other personal care services?
There are several reasons that our services are unique from other services. Our Core Values set us apart from other organizations - take a moment to read them here, and see how important our standard of excellence is to us. Also, a Registered Nurse gives oversight to all of our client's service plans and is available 24 hours a day for emergency consultation. Unlike most of our competitors, we are locally owned and operated. We have the time and ability to give you the individualized care that you deserve.

We can provide assistance in household management including laundry, meal preparation , cleaning, and shopping. We can also help transporting clients to medical and other personal appointments. We can provide as little as two hours of service a day up to 24 hour care.
Do I have a say in who is assigned?
Absolutely! We understand the importance of a good relationship between our clients and their caregivers. Our caregivers find fulfillment in their relationship with their clients, and they know that they can bring their clients long lasting benefits, such as improving their health and quality of life. We make certain that each caregiver is a good match for the clients we serve, and we allow our clients to meet their new caregivers and give their approval before starting services.

How much does it cost?
Our rates are competitive and reasonable for the services provided. We adjust our base rates according to the number of hours needed with each individual situation. We do have a two hour minimum fee. We compensate our caregivers with competitive wages and train them to provide many value-added services.
How do we arrange for the start of services?
Initiating services can pose a unique challenge for clients. It takes time for clients to become comfortable with the idea of having a stranger in their home and to trust in their caregivers. Servant's Heart is experienced at easing your loved one through this transition, and we will be there to see you through the adjustments that will take place. During the initial phone interview, we will gather information concerning your loved one's medical condition, personality traits, and specific needs and concerns. Next, our Client Services Supervisor or the Registered Nurse on staff will meet with you and finalize the individualilzed service plan that is catered to meet your every need. The new potential caregiver will meet with you and your loved one for a short visit to get acquainted before the services actually begin. If that caregiver doesn't seem to be a good match, we will continue to work with you until we find just the right person. And don't forget, the service plan is a working plan that can be changed and perfected as time goes along and new needs become apparent.
What if I have an urgent need and there's no time to wait?
Servant's Heart is able to assist in emergency situations. Our on duty staffing coordinator can facilitate admissions during non-business hours and weekends. Since we operate twenty four hours a day, help is only a phone call away.
